58&59 Universal Gravity

Can you...
1.  Express the dependence of gravitational field (i.e., gravitational acceleration) on mass and distance, using proportions
2. Calculate the strength of the gravitational field of a spherical mass at a given point outside the mass

Please complete the three gravitation units (and quizzes) on adaptive curriculum.

Write your notes and 3 quiz scores from adaptive curriculum on p.58, then answer the above 2 questions and 3 questions below on p.59 in your notebook and:  (puhsmt-######, :-)

3.  Can you show how g = 9.8 N/kg?
4.  How would g change on a planet that has twice the mass as earth?  (same radius)
5.  How would your weight change if the earth's radius was doubled?

:-)
