We survived! (so far...)



So yesterday no one was physically injured during our exploration of conservation of momentum and how that applies to rockets!  We also learned a few new uses for 2L bottles and dry ice (and how NOT to make dangerous explosives!)






Next we'll be looking a little closer at this idea of the quantity of motion (is it just velocity or does mass matter too?)

You have some momentum video sample files to get you started with video analysis, we're going to start looking into these video captures of ACTUAL motion to see if we can model & predict what happens during explosions and collisions (anti-explosions).
