So we learned about loops, conductors and insulators, and some electrochemistry with solutions (we even learned that braces and other things are conductors, ewwww)
Now it's time to start looking more closely at those light bulb thingies, and why they're encased in glass (and what they look like under the microscope, and, and, and...)
