Physics is about studying how the universe works, and since you're in it, it's really about understanding you and the world you live in. Hopefully you'll find this very interesting! Seek to improve your learning by polishing each portfolio objective, each online text assignment, and then by noticing physics in your life!

Air Rockets!

Today - find your new seat and group (follow the clickers)
Log in to google docs, and have someone at your table create a new shared document called PROJECTILES, and share it with your group (and your instructor)

What do we need to measure to figure out the launch velocity of a vertical projectile?

Let's do it today, follow the safety procedures, collect some good data, and figure out how to make some calculations!  Take pictures of you doing the rockets, wearing your goggles, and your data.  You can do the calculations tonight if you don't finish during class.

In your PROJECTILES GROUP DOCUMENT, include the following (after your title, with your names, and a group picture)
1)  At least one picture of your group doing the experiment
2)  Your raw data
3)  How you used your data to estimate the launch velocity and height (use the metric system)
